Fishing Guide

All guides offer half day (4hr) and full day (8hr) trips with snacks, water and
lunch provided – typically up to two people and open to tailoring trips to your needs. We warmly
welcome larger groups, and depending on the group size, additional guides may be required.
Please feel free to reach out with any inquiries you may have.

Please note that a valid NYS Fishing License is mandatory for participants aged sixteen and
older. These licenses can be obtained online or from DEC offices, select retailers such as Dick’s and
Wal-Mart, as well as local shops in our area.

Upper Delaware Float Trips
$500 full day – includes lunch (1-2 people) – 8-10 hours
$400 half day – includes snacks (1-2 people) – 4 hours

Wade Trips ($50 extra for 3rd angler on wade trips)
$450 full day – includes lunch (1-2 people) – 8-10 hours
$350half day – includes snacks (1-2 people) – 4 hours

Meet Rylie Lake, a seasoned angler whose love affair with fishing began since he could hold a rod. A true enthusiast, Rylie not only started fly fishing early but delved into fly tying even before casting his first line. Remarkably, at the age of 14, he crafted his own bamboo rod, marking the beginning of a lifelong connection with the sport.Hailing from the picturesque rivers of the Catskills, Rylie’s roots run deep in the waters of the Rondout Creek and the Neversink. His passion and skill have not gone unnoticed — in his youth, Rylie earned awards for his exceptional fly tying, showcasing his talent in competitions. Rylie’s expertise extends to the famed rivers of the Catskills, where he has honed his craft. Floating the Delaware River has become second nature to him, and his experiences have been captured in the documentary “Land of the Little Rivers” (2019). As a guide, Rylie offers both float trips on the Delaware, targeting trout and bass and wade trips outside the Delaware, specializing in fly fishing for individuals of all skill levels. Zach  Anderson, born and bred in the rugged beauty of Wyoming, has nature coursing through his veins. At just 14, armed with working papers and a deep love for fishing, Zach embarked on a mission that would shape his future. Initially met with a ‘no’ at a local fly shop, he was soon given a chance to prove himself by returning with a broom. This marked the beginning of Zach’s journey into the fishing industry—a journey filled with memorable experiences, from summers camping by Montana’s fishing accesses to braving below-zero nights car camping along the great lakes tributaries.

Through the highs and lows of droughts and floods, Zach has remained steadfast, now proudly calling the Catskills home.
